About

After spending the last 11 years in Chicago, it was finally time to move.  So, off we go to Milwaukee.  Though only an hour and a half away, it seems so far from the place I’ve call home for so long.  My wife and I have loved Chicago for so long it will be big adjustment to live in a new place.  But we look forward to exploring everything the ‘Cream City’ has to offer.  We’ll cook, and eat our way around the city and try to figure out this whole living in a house thing.

The photo and type at the top look like the title shot of a Spike Jonze movie. About sadness. I’m sure it has a cool soundtrack, though.

    Hi!

I’m writing to let you know about a recipe contest that may interest you: the Madison Area CSA Coalition is seeking recipes designed by community members like you for their “Farm-Fresh and Fast” cookbook project. They are looking for original recipes that feature fresh, local produce and are ready to serve in under 60 minutes. (i.e., things that would be good for weeknight meals). If they select your submission(s) for publication, you’ll see your name, and your culinary creation, in print!

The link below has all the details of the contest. Please feel free to submit as many recipes as you wish, or forward the contest to anyone else who may be interested in participating.

    Thanks!
    Danielle Pacha

PS: If you plan to announce the contest on your blog and you’d like access to any of the contest graphics, please let me know and I’ll get them to you.

  10. Hi there

I’m founder of http://www.walkedthru.com – which is actually a blog community.

We’re currently recruiting bloggers, of all subjects and professions to contribute

We think blog, Hungry in Milwaukee, is great and exactly what we’re looking for.
It is fun, helpful, focussed, informative and your writing style and images are just great.

We feel our foodie readers and Travel enthusiasts would really love and learn a lot about home brewing from your blog.

We also feel that your blog would be a great addition to our other Travel and Food WalkThru’s: Miami, Korean, Colorado, Paris, Florence, Manchester, Baking, Italian Food etc.

So with that we would love to bring you into the WalkedThru community!

When we add blogs we ask that you send us a blog profile picture and a quick summary, so that we can introduce you to our viewers.
Also we ask that our Walkers put our logo on their website, so that we offer some continuity to our users.

So if we were to proceed and you would like us to display your blog on our WalkedThru community, how would you like us to list your blog?
We would like to be as specific as possible, so what do you think is the most appropriate title?
WalkedThru Milwaukee Food we feel is simple but perfect.

We’re enthusiastic about you being part of our WalkedThru Community, and look forward to hearing from you soon!

    Regards
